Tata Nexon EV - India's another EV in the market

We all are already familiar with the only Indian car to pass five star crash test globally.

Now the safest Indian car will be seen in electric segment.

Specifications-


This machine has 30.2 kWh battery, it can go 312 kilometres on a single charge, which will be lesser on road with regular driving challenges. The regular charging time of Nexon EV is 8.5 hrs when plugged in home supply with 15A charger and can CCS 2 fast charging it can be charged from 0% to 80% in 60 minutes. The vehicle comes with regenerative braking so that it can be charged during deceleration.

The conventional gear lever is changed with rotary drive mode changer, which makes the interior to look more simple and spacier.

The battery and motor of Nexon EV comes with warranty of 8 years or 160, 000 km and Tata is providing doorstep warranty service.

Performance-


Tata Nexon EV can go from 0 to 60 kmph in 4.6 seconds and can achieve speed of 100 kmph in 9.9 seconds. The three phase permanent magnet synchronous can produces torque of 245 Nm which can be increased upto 60% in sports mode. Liquid cooling system is enabled in this car for better performance. The car can be connected through mobile app, with mobile app remote commands can be given, user can monitor vehicles health, can detect intrusion, driving analytics can be seen on the app and user can check for location based services.

Talking of safety features, dual front airbags are provided for safety, the vehicle comes with Anti lock braking (ABS) system which is for better stability and to avoid skidding of the vehicle.


Looking at the features of this vehicle we can say that Indian car manufacturer are well prepared to adopt the green technology in mobility sector. Now the country needs to prepare the charging infrastructure so that public choose for electric segment vehicles for a clean and pollution free environment.
